Onshore wind auction oversubscribed
Federal network agency BNetzA has awarded state-contracted revenue contracts to 3.44GW of onshore wind schemes across 372 projects.
The tender was launched in May and closed oversubscribed with 568 bids for nearly 5GW capacity.
The price range for the awarded contract is between €64.70/MWh and €69.40/MWh with a volume-weighted average of €68.30/MWh – below the ceiling price of €73.50/MWh.
The 10 companies or special purpose vehicle that were awarded the most capacity are as follows:
* Alterric awarded 195 MW across 30 projects
* WestWind awarded 145 MW across two projects
* Burgerwind Hollich awarded 107 MW across 16 projects
* EnBW awarded 92 MW across three projects
* Windpark Heydenhof – Neu Plotz awarded 84 MW across 12 projects
* ABO Wind awarded 80 MW across five projects
* Energiekontor awarded 79 MW for one project
* Raiffeisen Windpark Saterland awarded 72 MW across 10 projects
* Windpark Behrenhoff awarded 63 MW for one project
* Boreas Energie awarded 62 MW across nine projects
