Marguerite in train leasing JV

The company is 90% owned by Marguerite with the Polish partners having minority stakes and it is raising debt from Polish banks, a Marguerite spokesperson confirmed.
OnTrain has signed contracts for up to 80 locomotives from France's Alstom and Warsaw-listed Newag. The contracts include orders for up to 60 Traxx 3 multisystem locomotives from Alstom and up to 20 Dragon 2 LM heavy electric locomotives for Newag. The business has been set up in Poland as the country's market is among the ripest for rolling stock replacement, with 81% of its rail fleet older than 30 years, compared with an average 48% of fleets across the EU exceeding that age.
