China's Shenzhen Energy Group is planning up to 600MW new renewables projects in Kyrgyzstan and has signed investment agreements with local authorities for two schemes, the national press agency reported.
The schemes comprise a confirmed 300MW wind power plant and an up to 300MW solar plant for which pre-assessments are being carried out by the developer. The agreements were signed in Beijing on Wednesday as part of Kyrgyz president Sadyr Japarov's visit to China.
