Three EWEC power projects out to tender

EWEC launched the request for proposals for its 2.5GW Taweelah C combined-cycle gas-fired power project with bids due by the end of the year. ACWA Power, Engie, JERA, Kepco, Marubeni, Sumitomo, GE Vernova, Orascom and Sojitz have been prequalified to bid. It will be interesting to see how many bid given there is a general lack of bidders for gas-fired power stations.
