Omer Farooq leads the global asset finance team, driving strategic initiatives across sustainable, digital and core infrastructure. He joined Bank of America 18 years ago and has held multiple leadership roles within the renewable energy space. Prior to his current role, he was co-head of cross asset solutions & strategies and previously led the energy capital solutions team.

Christine Brozynski’s practice focuses on financing and development of infrastructure projects, with an emphasis on energy and data centre projects. Her experience includes debt and tax equity financings, commodity hedging arrangements and project documentation. Her recent work includes representing data centre developers on financing and project documentation for multi-phase data centres and other companies in equipment financing for multiple data centres. She graduated from Princeton University and Columbia Law School.
Joseph Luca

Joseph Luca works in deal origination and execution of structured finance transactions. Prior to joining Apterra, he worked in Nomura’s infrastructure and power finance team focused on financings in the digital infrastructure, renewables, and power sectors. Joseph holds a BBA in finance from Temple University and is a CAIA Charterholder.
Dhaval Shah

S&P Global Infrastructure Ratings
Dhaval Shah is a director and lead analyst at S&P Global Infrastructure Ratings in Toronto. Dhaval joined in 2013 and covers project finance transactions across sectors including transport and social infrastructure. Prior to joining the Toronto office, he worked in Mumbai for more than seven years as a credit analyst covering the project finance sector. Dhaval is a chartered accountant and has a degree in commerce from Maharaja Sayaji University, Baroda, India.

Nic Stone is a journalist with more than a decade of experience covering project and infrastructure finance. He has been covering renewable energy and financial markets and his work has been published by Reuters, the Financial Times, Al Jazeera and other international news organisations. Originally from Australia and now based in New York, he studied at the University of Sydney and gained a master’s degree from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism in New York.

Jonathan Salzinger is a managing director in the real estate corporate banking group, providing commercial real estate finance and capital markets coverage of real estate private equity and credit funds, digital infrastructure and other institutional real estate investors.
Jian (Jay) Hu
Managing Director, Head of Americas Corporate Structured Finance
Moody’s
Jay Hu leads the structured finance teams responsible for new ratings, surveillance and research on CLOs, corporate, commercial and novel ABS, structured credit and ABCP in the Americas. He is a member of the private credit steering committee, overseeing all structured deals related to private assets, a member of Moody’s decentralized finance and digital assets leadership team and chairs Moody’s global structured finance surveillance council. Hu has worked at Moody’s for more than two decades and was a senior economist at Fannie Mae, where he researched mortgage portfolio risk. He has a PhD in finance from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management and a bachelor’s degree from Tsinghua University’s School of Economics and Management.
Brian O’Hara

Brian O’Hara is a senior analyst on the secured credit team focusing on the CMBS sector. Prior to joining the firm in 2025, Brian held CMBS portfolio manager roles at RBC BlueBay Asset Management for two years and at KLS Diversified Asset Management for 13 years. From 2003–2006, he worked at Morgan Stanley and UBS on CMBS securitisations. He began his career in 1998 in the commercial mortgage-backed securities group at Fitch Ratings and has a bachelor’s degree in economics from Columbia University.
Richard Leong (moderator)

Richard Leong is a journalist focusing on structured finance at IFR. Before that, he worked at Reuters covering interest rates, US government bonds, the Federal Reserve and the housing market. Based in New York, he has a degree in economics from New York University.
