AO9 floater prequalified
Single bidders are BayWa re, EnBW Valeco Offshore, Iberdrola, Parkwind, RWE Eolien en Mer France and TotalEnergies. Bidding groups are Le Groupement Elicio/Q Energy/Kansai Electric, EDF Renouvelables/Maple Power, Ocean Winds/Banque des Territoires, Oxan Energy/Ingka Investments, Skyborn/Octopus and Plenitude/Qair.
Four lots are up for grabs and include the floating Bretagne Sud 2, an extension of the AO5 project that will total 400MW–550MW off southern Brittany. Another two floating parks, Golfe de Fos 2 and Narbonnaise 2 of 450MW–550MW each, will be in the Mediterranean, both extensions of AO6. A final 1GW–1.25GW, either fixed or floating, is planned off the island of Oleron in the Atlantic and is an extension of the AO7 project.
