Hexa appoints EPC for 48MW/185.7MWH

Hexa Renewables has appointed Recharge Power as the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contractor for its 48MW/185.7MWh solar with battery energy storage project.

Hexa has not indicated the project cost but estimates range between US$120 and US$150m. The project, once completed, will be the largest to date in Taiwan, and marks a major milestone in the country’s renewable energy development. Construction is scheduled to begin in the first half of this year. Recharge Power is the energy storage arm of J&V Energy Technology, a listed company which engages in development, investment, maintenance, and management of renewable energy plants in Taiwan.
