PLN NP seeks 200MW solar partners
PLN Nusantara Power is seeking strategic partners for four solar projects with a combined capacity of 200MW in East and Central Java as part of PLN’s broader renewable energy expansion.
The projects, each with a capacity of 50MW, are in Pemalang and Batang in Central Java and Sumenep and Paiton in East Java.
The partner selection process is being conducted under Project X Nusantara, a large-scale renewable energy initiative that covers solar, wind and hydropower developments. The invitation for the partner selection process was launched on January 12 and prequalification submissions are due by January 31, according to a posting by engineering consultancy Synkrona, which announced its appointment as one of the technical consultants on the strategic partner selection process.
