Neoenergia closes wind sale
Iberdrola affiliate Neoenergia has closed the sale of a 6.87% stake in special purpose vehicle Canoas 3 Energia Renovavel to manganese alloy producer Nexus Manganes.
The deal closed alongside a 10-year power purchase agreement for 15MW of wind power, which will cover 27% of Nexus’s demand under a self-production regime. The power will come from one of the 15 smaller wind farms at the 471MW Chafariz wind complex in Paraiba.
