Scatec has signed 25-year power purchase agreements with state utility STEG on the €80m 120MW Tataouine solar scheme and €100m 75MW El Fahs wind scheme.
Scatec intends to sell down equity on the Tataouine scheme and is partnering with Toyota Tsusho and its Aeolus subsidiary on the El Fahs scheme. Both will be financed via non-recourse debt and are due for financial close in the first half of 2027.
In February 2023 Scatec said it was negotiating the tariffs on the 360MW of Tunisian solar schemes won in December 2019, including the 200MW Tataouine scheme. El Fahs is Scatec's first wind scheme in Tunisia.
