Vinci on top
The Vinci Concessions/ABN AMRO Highways team, advised by BNP Paribas, has won the 30-year PPP contract to build and maintain the 52km R1 expressway. But the government could scrap the tender and opt for traditional procurement if Vinci does not manage to raise finance quickly, while Strabag/Porr, which came on top in the NPV results but was disqualified, is challenging the decision.
