Achemos Group has closed a pioneering 21-year €326m project financing package backing construction of the €460m 264MW Pagegiai wind farm to power ammonia production for its subsidiary Achema, one of Europe’s largest chemical plants.
The deal features a number of landmark bits, including international commercial and multilateral lenders, export credit agency coverage, an internal offtake structure and new corporate debt funding the equity tranche.
