Global P&M: Germany - WestLB in talks
WestLB is in talks with SMBC and Siemens Financial Services about selling its investment bank, including its project finance arm, according to IFR. The investment bank has to be sold before June 30th this year or simply face stop doing business. SMBC and Siemens are said to have recently stepped into the discussions about WestLB’s future.
