EMEA: Kuwait - Az Zour bids opened
The Kharafi/Mitsui and Acwapower bids on the Az Zour IWPP were not opened today leaving the GDF Suez/Sumitomo team cheapest at 127.077 MKD, Marubeni/Siemens on 132.709 and Malakoff/SK on 171.77. It had been expected the Acwa bid would not be opened but the Kharafi decision came as a surprise, apparently due to missing some form sheets in its bid documents. Both Kharafi and Acwa were believed to have cheaper bids.
