EMEA: Kenya – Spain backing Turkana line
The Spanish government is believed to be considering providing €110m to fund the 428km transmission line for the Lake Turkana Wind Power project. The loan is likely to be a mix of concessional and export credit facilities. The line and associated substations are a prerequisite of the €430m wind farm.
