EMEA: Belgium – Four shortlisted for A11
Four consortia have been shortlisted by PMV for €500m-plus A11 motorway PPP. The bidders are: Jan de Nul/Aswebo/Kumpen/DG Infra+; Besix/Eiffage/Heijmans/Stadsbader; Colas/Wegebo/Strabag/DIF; and CFE/BAM. A fifth Macquarie led consortium withdrew their bid prior to the shortlisting. The 30-year PPP contract entails constructing an 11km connection between Bruges and Knokke, connecting the port of Zeebrugge with the E40 and E34 highways. The EIB is considering lending €200m to the project.
