Carbon pipeline news

KVWS and Linde are in negotiations with ING about financing a new pipeline that would take carbon dioxide from Shell and transfer it to gas fields in Barendrecht, where Shell receives a government subsidy to deposit the gas. Extra carbon dioxide would feed into the €100m OCAP pipeline, which was also financed by ING. This pipeline already takes 300,000tpa of carbon dioxide from a Shell refinery in Botlek to around 500 greenhouses and horticultural operations near the port of Amsterdam.
