Americas: Brazil - Port concession readies for launch
The first of the country’s public port concessions will be launched for tender this year, said Antaq, the national waterway regulator. The port will be constructed in the municipality of Ilhéus in southern Bahia State. The winning bidder will be the company that offers the most money to the government or the firm that charges the lowest tariffs.
